  • Dana Ferraro - Director

Hello! I am Dana Ferraro, the director of Christ Lutheran Day School. I have been blessed to be able to work at CLDS for the last 25 years. I graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Child Development and a Master’s in Education. I have taught in early childhood all of my adult life. I love my job and I love this school! When I am not working/playing at CLDS I am home with my amazing children. I have three boys, John, Joe, and Greg. They are in the 6th and 4th grades. We love to travel, watch movies, and build with Legos. The beach is our happy place. I am excited to be able to watch what our fabulous teachers and children do every day at CLDS.

  • Kelsey Shaw - Assistant Director

My name is Kelsey Shaw. I am thrilled to be working with your children this year. Throughout my career, I have worked with young children in several different educational settings. For the past ten years, I was a cribs and one’s teacher at University Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. I have also previously been a teacher at Texas Tech University’s Child Development Research Center, a nanny, and a mother. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Texas Tech. I have been employed in early childhood education since obtaining my degree 22 years ago. This is my fourth year at Christ Lutheran; my third year as a toddler teacher. I am married and have an incredible thirteen-year-old son named Harper and an amazing seven-year-old, Weldon who are both attending San Antonio Christian School. Children are amazing human beings and are constantly awing me with their discoveries. I am looking forward to exploring, creating, and discovering life with your children.

  • Sue Morgan - Curriculum Coordinator

Hello! My name is Sue Morgan, and I am beyond excited to start my 14th year of teaching at Christ Lutheran Day School. I am privileged to have a job where I get to watch and foster the growth of our youth. I completed my degree in Psychology, with a major emphasis in Elementary Education, at a college in northern Minnesota. It is there where I met my wonderful husband John. We have two adult children, Patrick and Megan, and a son-in-law Paul. It is incredibly rewarding to witness the amazing adults they have become! In many ways, they have now become my role models. When I am not teaching, I love spending my time with family, friends, and my fur babies. I also enjoy gardening, long walks, and traveling.

  • Lauren Romero - Administrative Assistant

I am Lauren Romero, the office administrator at Christ Lutheran Day School. I moved to San Antonio when I was 13 from Del Valle, a small town southeast of Austin. I graduated from Alamo Heights High School. After graduating, I served in the Army as a Combat Medic. I am a new mom to my beautiful son Marcas Alexander who is 19 months. Definitely excited to show my son the wonders of CLDS. During our free time we love to travel or do outdoor activities; like walking at Olmos Park and taking trips to the dog park with our 4 year old Catahoula, Perry. I'm excited to become a part of CLDS.

Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero to me.
